I have bought two new vehicles in the past three months . It very very convenient to have a Chevrolet dealership within six miles of my home. The website they have is very user friendly and was my starting point for finding vehicles that sooted our needs. Having the same sales person that I have dealt with previously was also a plus. I’ve tried buying cars from larger dealerships but didn’t have that good feeling that I had with my experience with Barnard Chevrolet in Churchville NY. This is my fourth purchase from Patrick Levey as my sales person. He did a great job and made me come away very satisfied.

After seeing numerous posters about paying with points, and verifying that I had sufficient points, when it came time to pay I was informed I needed the last 4 digits of my account to verify my identity. My identity can be verified easily by drivers license and the fact that I have been a customer for 30 years. Very disappointing.

The service department is great. My wife and I have purchased a number of vehicles through the years at Barnard’s mainly because of the service after the sale. They are the only ones we trust to work on our vehicles.

Just very personable and dealership is small enough and or apparently just takes the time to put customers first!

I thought I was going to have to cancel my inspection, but they told me they could have someone repair my windshield and do the inspection all in one day. They were very nice and quick!

After they did my oil change they did not even set the oil life thing on the dash.

Work was preformed as expected. Service manager kept me informed on the progress and job was completed in a timely manner

The guys did great getting my truck serviced

I scheduled my appointment online requesting a basic oil change and a quote for repair to passenger side front end that was damaged in a minor accident. The workers were unaccommodating and told me if I wanted a quote for repair, I would need to walk over to a separate building and speak to someone else. If you are going to severely overcharge for a basic oil change, try to at least provide a speck of customer service. I will not be returning for any sort of maintenance in the future and once my lease expires, I will be working with a different dealership altogether. This is the second time I have had the same exact experience, nothing improves or remotely changes.

I was greeted by Dave in the service dept. He was friendly and explained how the process worked and how long I would have to wait. Waiting room was so nice. When my car was ready, I cashed out and the woman there was also very friendly. Wonderful experience!

Tim Barnard went over everything about the purchase, the numbers, the packages, the extras, etc. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable, understanding, and easy to talk to. When the vehicle was brought up for me, he went over the ins and outs of operating all of the bells and whistles, and helped set up the On-Star. It's good to go to a place that knows your name (no Cheers pun intended), but to be understood as to your vehicle needs, friendly faces and professionalism.

Had to buy two new tires due to a huge item puncturing my tire. They took it right in and fixed it and were very helpful in ordering the tires and completing the repair.

Had an oil change and tire rotation service under certified used program I purchased last year. That was the second of two that are free under this program. All service was completed in a timely manner. All employees I encountered were pleasant and professional. This is the sixth vehicle I have purchased from Jim Barnard over the years and I haven’t had any issues doing so.

As always top shelf service and courtesy. There was a recall on my Colorado that I was not aware of and John took care of that along with my oil change. Great team.

New tires and valve stems and alignment. A few little marks on wheels from machine that weren’t there before and a missing chrome cover on a lug nut. A new lug nut has been ordered but haven’t heard anything about it yet. Have all work done on car Barnard’s and overall happy..

I came in for an inspection and failed and was quoted $500+ to fix the issue. I declined and went elsewhere and passed the inspection with no issues. I will not be coming back to this location as I feel like i was being taking advantage of. Thank god I have family in the car business who I could get advice from. I brought plenty of knitting and crocheting. We've been going to Bob Johnson West for many decades before switching to Jim Barnard. Oil changes at Bob Johnson can easily take 3 hours. I came in for an indicator light on my dashboard, expecting the worst. Out the door with the issue fixed in any 30 minutes. Did I mention the last time this happened to my husband it took 5 trips to Bob Johnson??

Oil change for my C5 Corvette. Premium level Mobil 1. As always prompt and courteous attention. Both Dave and John know me by name. I have had dozens of vehicles serviced there. I was just surprised and a little taken aback in that no paper mat was used on the carpeted footwell and there were oily fingerprints on the drivers door handle.

Service was good but I feel I'm getting screwed over by the warranty ruling and is costing me they are not covering and part that I couldn't have damaged it's a faulty part and they claim it's not covered. I'm not happy I paid 2800 for the extended warranty for it not to cover it. I really have to rethink my thoughts on dealing with GM and Barnards. I have been a customer for 39 years how sad.

Mike Shepard, in the Collision Shop, provided wonderful service in repairing the defective paint on the tailgate of my Trailblazer in a timely manner and helped make accommodations with "Mr. Glass" for replacement of my cracked windshield during the same time period. I am sincerely appreciative of Mike's friendly manner, efficiency, and expertise.

My appointment time and estimated wait time were right on schedule. Service manager and staff are always courteous and friendly.

I took my vehicle in due to the service warning light came on stating that my tire pressure monitoring system needed service, I was able to get an appointment within 2 days, when I took it in and talking to John about my issue I told him that I was there in June for the same problem on another tire, at that time it was discovered that there was another tire that needed to have the system replaced so after talking with John I decided to have the last one replaced along with the bad one. 45 minutes after my appointment time I was on my way home.

Annual NYS inspection. Arrived a few minutes before appointment and was done in 20 minutes.

Unfortunately the tech did not find any issues, however two days after I again lost power steering, the ABS and Traction control/Stabilizer dash lights are lit up. Very discouraged as I have brought the vehicle in several times complaining about issues and nothing has ever been found to repair!

As always easy to schedule, courteous excellent service from John, Dave and Caroline, my scheduling pal! I don’t go anywhere else.
