I came in for an inspection and failed and was quoted $500+ to fix the issue. I declined and went elsewhere and passed the inspection with no issues. I will not be coming back to this location as I feel like i was being taking advantage of. Thank god I have family in the car business who I could get advice from. Makes me wonder how many others get taken advantage of too. Will not be recommending this place to anyone in the future.

I brought plenty of knitting and crocheting. We've been going to Bob Johnson West for many decades before switching to Jim Barnard. Oil changes at Bob Johnson can easily take 3 hours. I came in for an indicator light on my dashboard, expecting the worst. Out the door with the issue fixed in any 30 minutes. Did I mention the last time this happened to my husband it took 5 trips to Bob Johnson??

Oil change for my C5 Corvette. Premium level Mobil 1. As always prompt and courteous attention. Both Dave and John know me by name. I have had dozens of vehicles serviced there. I was just surprised and a little taken aback in that no paper mat was used on the carpeted footwell and there were oily fingerprints on the drivers door handle.

I have always had excellent service from your dealership. Your service department has always been honest and efficient.

'19 Impala needed NYSI, LOF service, and tire rotation. Promised a 2-hour window for service; car was done in 1.5 hours. Great turnaround; the car runs fine. I always use Barnard as option one with this vehicle. Never been disappointed. GM needs the smaller hometown dealers.

Lets face face it when your car/truck is down and it needs repair most of the time its like the end of the world kinda like losing your phone but when you deal with the cats at Jim Barnard chevy your in good hands nothing to worry about from the service dept, to parts, Collision, and the sales team that I might say are still there after the sale making sure your ok and happy there's nothing to worry about they got you with a smile and you leave there with that warm fuzzy feeling and your ride is tip top thanks to ya'll

Service was good but I feel I'm getting screwed over by the warranty ruling and is costing me they are not covering and part that I couldn't have damaged it's a faulty part and they claim it's not covered. I'm not happy I paid 2800 for the extended warranty for it not to cover it. I really have to rethink my thoughts on dealing with GM and Barnards. I have been a customer for 39 years how sad.

Mike Shepard, in the Collision Shop, provided wonderful service in repairing the defective paint on the tailgate of my Trailblazer in a timely manner and helped make accommodations with "Mr. Glass" for replacement of my cracked windshield during the same time period. I am sincerely appreciative of Mike's friendly manner, efficiency, and expertise.

I took my vehicle in due to the service warning light came on stating that my tire pressure monitoring system needed service, I was able to get an appointment within 2 days, when I took it in and talking to John about my issue I told him that I was there in June for the same problem on another tire, at that time it was discovered that there was another tire that needed to have the system replaced so after talking with John I decided to have the last one replaced along with the bad one. 45 minutes after my appointment time I was on my way home.

The service department greeted me cordially and had all the information ready to start the work and explained in detail and great understanding what was going to happen. In 90 minutes I was out the door with my check engine light off and ready to get inspected.

My vehicle has been in the garage multiple times in the last 2 months for a check engine light. The staff have been very friendly and patient in dealing with the issues.

My EquinoxEV came in for a recall, which simply involved a software update. I read at home the EV’s are so quiet, there is a fear people don’t hear them coming… I assume the software update addressed that issue…. It’s still a very quiet car. Service was provided almost instantaneously for a "no-start" condition on my vehicle. Personnel listened to and documented my observations on failures that let to the breakdown and quickly confirmed the initial diagnosis and resolved the problem.

Jim Barnard is my go to for vehicle needs.

I brought my car in for a specific list of maintenance items(not including brakes)…I was told my rear breaks/rotors needed replacement but that the front set were fine. After spending 1300 at your dealership I received my truck back with a broken/disabled brake level monitor system. At some point between bringing the car in and the vehicle leaving this sensor was damaged and your dealership would not take responsibility and fix the problem. I tried this dealership because I was looking for a small company and you are also closer to me than Henrietta. I was prepared to give all my future service and Vehicle purchases(2 every 3 years) and this experience changed my mind.

Service department was excellent as usual they got my truck in and taken care of in good time My only problem is the extended warranty I paid $3000.00 for didn’t cover the tire sensor pressure switch that had to be replaced not sure what good the the warranty is that I paid for

My car is making more noises than it was before. I also had to pay for a rental because there were no loaner cars overnight. I don’t even know if the initial problem I brought the vehicle in for was checked. No one seemed to know.

I showed up early, they got me right in, . my oil change was done quickly, my truck interior wasn't clean, thats a thing because the dealership in a neighboring town isn't that careful. Second I've been here, now I'll be a regular.

Got me right in for an inspection. Truck was turning over slower, so they bench tested and glad we did. They had stock and were able to replace the battery for me while in.

It would be great if they washed your car (even a quick rinse!) before returning it.
