We have purchased our vehicles from this location since 1989, more in the last 12 years that we have retired from the military and settled back home. It's good to go to a place that knows your name (no Cheers pun intended), but to be understood as to your vehicle needs, friendly faces and professionalism.

Had to buy two new tires due to a huge item puncturing my tire. They took it right in and fixed it and were very helpful in ordering the tires and completing the repair.

All service was completed in a timely manner. All employees I encountered were pleasant and professional. Easy to make appt on the phone. Car left night before. Service called me during the day to ask me about needed items. Paying over phone and late pickup was easy. Price was reasonable.

My car was in the collision department. It was looked at, gm parts ordered, repaired, cleaned up. Color marched perfectly.

I took my car in to be checked because the engine light was on and I’ve only had the car little over one week John the service person, very professional and cordial I have to wait 3 to 5 days. He said they had to order part.

I came in for an inspection and failed and was quoted $500+ to fix the issue. I declined and went elsewhere and passed the inspection with no issues. I will not be coming back to this location as I feel like i was being taking advantage of. Thank god I have family in the car business who I could get advice from. Makes me wonder how many others get taken advantage of too. Will not be recommending this place to anyone in the future.

Service was done rather quickly. Repair was covered under warranty, so the price was no issue. Have driven the vehicle over 70 miles and the issue has been eliminated.

I brought plenty of knitting and crocheting. We've been going to Bob Johnson West for many decades before switching to Jim Barnard. Oil changes at Bob Johnson can easily take 3 hours. I came in for an indicator light on my dashboard, expecting the worst. Out the door with the issue fixed in any 30 minutes. Did I mention the last time this happened to my husband it took 5 trips to Bob Johnson??

Oil change for my C5 Corvette. Premium level Mobil 1. As always prompt and courteous attention. Both Dave and John know me by name. I have had dozens of vehicles serviced there. I was just surprised and a little taken aback in that no paper mat was used on the carpeted footwell and there were oily fingerprints on the drivers door handle.

'19 Impala needed NYSI, LOF service, and tire rotation. Promised a 2-hour window for service; car was done in 1.5 hours. Great turnaround; the car runs fine. I always use Barnard as option one with this vehicle. Never been disappointed. GM needs the smaller hometown dealers.

Needed the work done asap after my check engine light came on, they squeezed me in and got it done.

Brought my car in for a braking problem and you found that the rear brakes needed to be replaced. I scheduled an appointment for that to be done, and it was completed without any problem.

The Service Department is awesome. They keep me informed, as to the problem, cost to repair, and the time to repair. Repair time is usually less than quoted, and less than I anticipated.

Problem with the AC unit. Dealership has been unable to get a replacement anywhere. They are checking all over for a replacement but still no luck.

Lets face face it when your car/truck is down and it needs repair most of the time its like the end of the world kinda like losing your phone but when you deal with the cats at Jim Barnard chevy your in good hands nothing to worry about from the service dept, to parts, Collision, and the sales team that I might say are still there after the sale making sure your ok and happy there's nothing to worry about they got you with a smile and you leave there with that warm fuzzy feeling and your ride is tip top thanks to ya'll

Service was good but I feel I'm getting screwed over by the warranty ruling and is costing me they are not covering and part that I couldn't have damaged it's a faulty part and they claim it's not covered. I'm not happy I paid 2800 for the extended warranty for it not to cover it. I really have to rethink my thoughts on dealing with GM and Barnards. I have been a customer for 39 years how sad.

I took my vehicle in due to the service warning light came on stating that my tire pressure monitoring system needed service, I was able to get an appointment within 2 days, when I took it in and talking to John about my issue I told him that I was there in June for the same problem on another tire, at that time it was discovered that there was another tire that needed to have the system replaced so after talking with John I decided to have the last one replaced along with the bad one. 45 minutes after my appointment time I was on my way home.

After I missed an appointment they were very accommodating and remembered who I was and what needed to be done on the vehicle. Great staff

Unfortunately the tech did not find any issues, however two days after I again lost power steering, the ABS and Traction control/Stabilizer dash lights are lit up. Very discouraged as I have brought the vehicle in several times complaining about issues and nothing has ever been found to repair!

The service department greeted me cordially and had all the information ready to start the work and explained in detail and great understanding what was going to happen. In 90 minutes I was out the door with my check engine light off and ready to get inspected.

My vehicle has been in the garage multiple times in the last 2 months for a check engine light. The staff have been very friendly and patient in dealing with the issues.
